    They said a swap out, replacing the phone with the same means no fee, but a different phone adds the fee, even if it isn't new.

    Basically the person bought an Android, decided not to use it and went back to a different phone, then changed their mind and wanted to go back to the Android.

    Yeah, they thought that since it had been activated for a brief period, before, that it would be excluded, but Sprint said no go.

    That's lame... If a phone has been activated on your account before, you should be able to switch to it any time you want without triggering the new $10/month fee.
