4G towers will be turned on November 1st. I know because my employer which is a rather large cable company (3rd in the nation) will be offering wireless internet services 3G and 4G, they turned them on temporarily for testing purposes for us a few months back but it will be official effective November 1st. So all Evo/Epic owners get ready...

I have a Clear 4G USB modem and happened to be in Columbus in early October. Surprisingly it was working while I was there that weekend even though they had not officially announced Columbus on their web site. I know Sprint and Cleawire are partners so they've probably been testing for a while now.
