I'm in Glasgow, KY visiting my family (our motherland, I suppose) from Atlanta and I'm seeing "Extended Network" instead of "Verizon Wireless," with 5 bars and 3G coverage. The only difference I've noticed is my battery life is, um, somewhat shorter, but everything else works as usual.

Is this just some sort of roaming? Is my bill going to be HUGE (like when I accidentally travelled out of network with my BlackBerry on AT&T)?

I guess I'm just not used to seeing anything other than "Verizon Wireless" because it's so rare to be anywhere where I run outside of their network…

Thanks!
