    basically he needs to find a phone that is free of being on a line to release the esn of the pre. he needs to buy some cheap phone to activate on HIS line, then you can activate the pre on YOUR line.

    sounds like you might have gotten your self into a scam though.

CALL THEM ON A SPRINT PHONE BY DIALING *2 OR ON A LAND LINE AT (1-800-SPRINT1) YOU CAN NEVER ACTIVATE A BLACK LISTED (PHONE ON THE STOLEN OR LOST LIST) PHONE UNTILL THE ORIGINAL OWNER PRESENTS THE PHONE W PROOF OF WHO THEY ARE TO HAVE THE ESN REMOVED FROM THE BLACK LIST!!!!

    Something to always remember: The CSR's on the phone are DUMB. Once in a while you get someone who has worked in a store or on the Sales Support side and knows what they are talking about, but the vast majority of the time the Customer service reps on the phone are undertrained and don't understand how the system works and why what they are telling you is totally crazy. And tele-sales is much much much worse, tele-sales will tell you ANYTHING to close the sale.
