I can't say for sure until the Pre is released, but I think we're in for a real spit in the face from the people at Sprint.

I have a sprint Sero account, and to be quite honest - that is the ONLY reason I stick with Sprint, so far they have had nothing but horrible devices that I wouldn't touch and FINALLY now that they're getting the Palm Pre, I hear that not only are they not letting people from the SERO plans use it, but the "official" price for the device is $850??

    That is simply ridiculous!

None of my friends are sprint clients and whenever they talk badly of the network I am ALWAYS there to defend it and say that they DO in fact have a good 3G network and their costumer support isn't "that" bad... For the past 2 years I have been a "goodwill" agent on behalf of Sprint and so have a lot of that have these "Sero" accounts.

For me, being told by Sprint that they don't want me as a special client anymore if I want the palm pre is a HUGE Disappointment! And I'm now - for the first time in months, considering buying an iPhone and moving to AT&T / T-Mobile.

I hope somebody from Sprint is reading these forums because I have no idea how to contact them otherwise. If you are reading this - PLEASE - Just let me keep my plan and buy the Pre for it's regular price (I believe it was $549 originally). I don't think 550 is too much to pay for a phone at that level and it would definitely be worth my time if i can keep my sero plan.

OH - and for CHRIST sake - enable tethering!

the phone is $550 - $850 if you buy at Best Buy, but it's $550 from Sprint.

While I know you are frustrated, and I am in the same boat as you, (as in I just cant get it) you are beating a dead horse with this topic. It's been covered like 12,000 times, and there are other threads talking about this.

There is nothing you, nor I, or anyone on this board can do. You either get a new plan, or you get another phone and keep your plan (hopefully)

You can complain all you want, but in the end, Sprint, nor Palm I think really cares. Sprint wants what they want, and we have no say.

My only suggestion, is to maybe see if where ever you work, allows for a Sprint discount. If so, you could get the Everything plan for $69.99 and then a % off of that.

I know it may not be what you pay now, but that is probably the lowest you will get it. It would be lower then the $59.99 ERP plan. And if you cant do that, you may try and have someone hook you up with the ERP plan at $59.99

There are not many ways of going about it.

Great, another "SERO customer wronged" thread. FYI, I have a SERO plan and plan on moving up to a EPRP Data plan for $59.99 and get the Pre for $199. I will play by the rules and get what I want. and the previous poster is correct, the price of a new Pre from Sprint w/o rebates is $549.99

I think it's ridiculous that they're not sending Angelina Jole to my house to deliver mine. After all, they showed pictures of her with it for crying out loud!!!

I swear, if the don't give me what I want, I'm going to switch to a prepaid throwaway phone. That'll show 'em.

They are a struggling company in a struggling economy. This little device could simultaneously save Sprint and Palm. They need to make a profit and they hold the upper hand on this one. It's a smart business decision.

McGuire’s Law Blog Archive Psst - Have you Heard about Everything Plus?

$59.99 is a great price for 500 anytime minutes and unlimited... everything else

Mr. Yoe if you do choose to go to ATT for the iphone you will be paying much more and suffer faulty logic.

Welcome to 2009, unlimited data plans no longer cost $30

I am SOOOOO sick of the whining on this forum. God forbid Sprint actually hope to turn a profit at some point. The SERO days are numbered but Sprint is still the absolute lowest priced cell provider out there.

    Get a grip people.

Having a Palm Pre with SERO plan is a right, along with health care, houses, cars, food, vacation, and so on. The government should provide us all these things.

How annoying are these SERO cry babies?

    Keep your SERO
    ------ OR ------
    Get a nice phone.

That's it. Those are your choices. I've been a Sprint customer far longer than you, paying full price, for multiple single line accounts.

I guess you think you're special since you have SERO and you've been a customer for a pathetic 2 years. Pfftttt

PLEASE go to AT&T and pay 3 times more than you've paying for your precious SERO plan.
    That will show Sprint

If there is a SERO simulus package passed I am moving to Germany... that's socialism done right.

I don't want the goverment telling me what I can and cannot buy via making things they want me to buy cheap and things I want to buy expensive.

Oh and yada yada palm pre... there i'm still on topic

I think maybe you should switch to AT&T. Because it seems sprint sucks. All your friends say so. And they won't let you keep the SERO plan..... I am sure you will get a MUCH better deal with AT&T or Verizon. They are known for their value propositions.......

Sorry......just growing weary of the whole "woe is me" SERO complaints.
Lots of us are on SERO plans.........
life is full of decisions. Do you want SERO or do you want a PRE? I don't understand why it is SO tough.........

Im so sick of all this complaining! When att does it with the Iphone its okay "because they paid a lot for the iphone and they need it." but when sprint forces you to change the plan its stupid sprint they are so dumb because they wont allow me to make them lose money anymore. My response to you is Good riddance!

Is this another; 'I can't keep my SERO' thread?

Okay, I'll move it to the Pre Plans section of our Forums.

    Thanks,
    Berd.
