I've been a Verizon customer for years and will be making the switch to Sprint once the Pre comes out. My question is, if I get the $99 a month Simply Everything plan would I be charged for roaming? Thanks!

No, as long as less than half of your monthly call time is used while roaming.

So, since I live in an area designated as roaming on the coverage map, I am basicly prevented from becoming a Sprint customer?

I think every carrier has the 50% rule in their contract. What carrier has a strong signal in your area?

A GSM version of the Pre will be out in 3 to 6 months I would guess. Then you could just swap Sims cards. That's what I am going to do.
