So the question is, wait for the 750 to hit sprint (if ever) or go with the 700.

    if 700, 700p or 700wx

    and why?
Sprint Treo 755p (ex-650) user and loving it.

Wait until May. . . the announcement on the Sprint "755" should be out by then . . . .

    PalmOS vs. WM5 or WM6 ??

Wait and see if the awaited ROM update cures the 700P's lag and Bluetooth issues. . . .

How many PalmOS 3rd party apps do you have that you would want to replace if you went with WinMob? At what cost?

Have you browsed the 700w/wx and 750 forums to see what those users say about their devices?

    Cheers, Perry.

this is slightly off topic, but Perry you never cease to amaze me. I vote for you for the unofficial "most friendly, always the first to try and help" award. I wish that there were more like you.

Whats in the 755 that makes it worth the wait?
    Palm III-->Palm IIIxe-->Palm 505-->Samsung i300-->Treo 600-->PPC 6600-->Treo 650-->Treo 700wx-->BB Pearl--> BB Curve

    Hey t2gungho!

Certainly a better kept secret than the 700P . . . . . not a clue as to what this puppy will be. If it's my 900P (which I think is 8 to 10 months away), Palm will have just blown me away. . . . but I think it will be a CDMA 750 with some possible extra tweaks . . . . .

Thanks all for the kind words!

    Cheers, Perry.

I agree Perry. I don't seen a Palm OS upgrade, just the new form factor with the same POS, possibly with the OS Update pre-loaded. That's if the 700p update actually gets released. We'll get the 750 form factor which will be an improvement. Will it be worth $300 + to upgrade from my 700p? I highly doubt it.

Maybe we should keep checking "craigs list" to see if anyone is gonna sell a beta/demo of the 755P like Merlin found last year.

ONE can be spelled as NEO.

now thats a good one eh?

plus the fact how long to reload each app and codes etc vs a resco backup restore in the new device may go so fast ( yes i know its a maybe ) but it could be much easier to stay POS
