    I'm listening to ShoutCast stream on the Treo 650 using Pocket Tunes 3.1.5.

    It's constantly buffering during the song, is there a way I can fix this? it's 128bit rate so I guess this may be too much, but I'm not sure.

    Thanks.

    I'm seeing the same thing on lower bitrates. A little odd, but I have had sucessess where it streamed fine for quite a while without issue.

    Personally I wouldn't go over 64 on a 1x connection. That gives the best performance balance IMHO.

    128 is too fast on everything except EVDO connections. I also don't stream anything over 64.
    Palm V-->Visor Deluxe-->Visor Prism-->Visorphone-->Treo 180-->Treo 600-->Treo 650 on Sprint-->Treo 700p-->Centro-->Diamond-->Pre-->HTC EVO 4g???!

    Agreed. I normally go for the 32k (Try RadioIO) connections on mine because I have more success. Anything higher has to rebuffer. Too bad ptunes doesn't have the option to change the size of the buffer.

    128 or even 160 is not too fast for EDGE. I stream at 160 all the time at night when the network is not saturated.
