Sorry for the delay guys, I've been going round and round with several companies trying to find some decent deals. The prices I've run into are just too high to justify. If/when, I will let everyone know.

I just purchased an ATP 1 GB SD Card Pro for use with my Treo 650. I ran VFSMark to compare its performance to that of my speedy 256 MB Panasonic card. Overall, the Panasonic scored a 485, and the ATP a 627. But what I found surprising is the scores for the *write* test:

    The Panasonic scored a 135 ... and the ATP a measly 57.

Any idea why the ATP would score so badly?

How much is too high? Any updates? I'd be interested in 1g or up.

The manufacturer claims that there is some interaction between VFSMark and the ATP card, but it isn't just VFSMark ... I downloaded CardSpeed from the Audacity Audio site, and while the 8 bit read and write scores seemed fine, the 32bit write score came in at ... 81 *bytes* per second!

Amazon has the Sandisk 1 GB Ultra II for $95.99 shipped. I've heard it's a really fast card, but haven't seen any numbers about how it performs in the 650.

Anyone tried this in their 650 yet?
