I just had a great experience with a broken treo, so I had to report it. The right hing broke through normal usage on my treo 270. It was in warranty, so I called Treo. They said it was a known defect, that it would be replaced without charge, but that t-mobile handled the replacement. Talking to three different people was a bit of a hassle, but I got the new treo, it works fine and I don't have to pay for postage to send the broken one back.

I was able to use the broken treo by taping the cover to the main piece. The replacement treo works fine, just synced with my computer. All is right in the world. The best experience I have had with service from an electronic product.

Of course now I am tempted more than ever to upgrade to a 600.
