seidioseidio, does anyone at your office ever answer calls? I've tried calling this Margaret, but no one ever answers. I still haven't been able to get an answer and still haven't gotten an exchange for the Inno Dock Jr. I received from your company back in February.

I apologize if you didn't get someone live...it may have been after hours. Please email me your info and I'll get you taken care of quickly. Please include your original order number and send it to forum@seidio.com.

    Thanks

Seems odd that the USB cable included is 1.1 and we have to pay extra for a USB 2.0 cable. Isnt it time that Seidio just shipped a USB 2.0 cable with this cradle?

Having to buy an extra cable to replace the one that comes with the cradle seems like an unnecessary extra expense from Seidio.

The only difference is extra screening.

A USB cable that conforms to the official USB 1.1 spec should work perfectly well with USB 2.0. The problem is that manufacturers discovered that 1.1 would still work with cheaper, poorly screened cables, so they ignored the spec and scrimped on the quality to save a few pence.

So cables have now to be re-certified to ensure that they will with the higher data rates of 2.0.

So, in answer to your question, if it doesn't work with 2.0, Seidio's "USB 1.1 cable" is sub-standard. And there's no way a USB 2.0 standard cable should cost $8.95 more. Either way you look at it, Seido are ripping you off.

I've been using the InnoDock Jr along with the USB power adapter with my 750 successfully for a couple of months. However, for the last couple of weeks, the InnoDock Jr has been very inconsistent with charging the Treo.

Sometimes the InnoDock charges my treo 750 fine
Sometimes the InnoDock does not charge AT ALL
Sometimes the InnoDock partially charges my Treo 750

    Anybody experience anything similar?
