Does the treo fit securely in the case or does it give any - you know like a nut in a shell?

So has anyone picked one of these up yet? I'd be keen to read a short review or see some pics before I take the plunge...

Mine shipped yesterday; it's going USPS, though, so it'll be a few days getting here.

I got this case a few weeks back and absolutely LOVE it. I had a couple of other expensive leather cases and this case blows them away. It has a great tactile feel to it and doesn't pick up any kind of dirt or fuzz. It is like having no case at all it's so light. The black looks great on the grey Treo.

    Thanks seidio

    Thanks
Can we use the Black and Crystal and interchange them? I understand some folks are doing this on their 700's. So, no problems with these cases like the 700s?

edit: Never mind, I found the combo version on their site. Just ordered it.

Agreed. I've had it for about ten days or so and love it. Thin, tight-fitting, and it definitely spruces up my rather dull grey 680. My only concern is how well it will handle repeated removings (e.g. soft resets, battery changes, etc.).

All in all, a great case, however.

Can you put the Treo in the Treo cradle with this case on?

I received it yesterday and liked it quite a bit. I don't have it on right now because I messed up screen protector installation, so need to wait for another one to arrive.

I'm paranoid, and usually keep my Treo in a BoxWave armor case, so I'm a little nervous about leaving it such "skimpy" duds, but the feel of the rubberized case tempts me...

One gripe: it's a little rough around the edges where the two halves join.

Do you use BoxWave screen protectors? I got some for my 680 and they sent ones for the 750v. Should have been no big deal, but they were too big. I would have had to push 3 of the 4 sides back under the bezel to get it to fit. I ruined all 3 of the ones I got trying to make it fit. I sent BoxWave an email but so far no repsonse.

I actually received screen protectors from Boxwave for the 750v, too. (I'd ordered them for my 680). After discarding the first due to an installation mistake, I was able to install the second fairly easily. A very small part of two corners extends every-so-slightly under the benzel, but this doesn't seem to have impacted performance.

Unless our respective experiences were unusual, perhaps Boxwave simply assumes that the 750v protectors will automatically fit 680s...?

The Seidio Rubberized and Crystal Cases are both in the TreoCentral store now also. Look for a review of either the 750 or the 680 case on the site in the near future.

I got the hybrid case. It does not fit the palm cradle (180-10022-01) snugly enough to sync with the case on. (It does seem to recharge, though, if you hold it down tight enough.)

I e-mailed Seidio's support folks and they confirmed that the 680 in the hybrid case (and presumably the rubberized case and the crystal case?) won't fit the Palm cradle. They did, of course, point me to Seidio's own cradles, which are designed to work with the rubberized/hybrid/crystal cases.
    Lurking and learning ...

I just got mine and it's looking pretty cool. It's a real tight fight and I had to put a lot of pressure for the case to snap together. I was afraid of breaking the case since it's so thin (it didn't). The feel is nice and smooth on the black rubberized part. I rubbed it on my cotton shirt to see if it picked up any lint - none. I like that it doesn't obstruct the use of the keyboard - which my Vaja case did for the 650. I do like that the crimson color of the case can still be seen. I'd like to see if they can make one that matches the crimson. One thing I'm not testing is dropping my phone to see if this case holds up. I'll let someone else do that!

I can't anywhere what the screen dimensions are for the 680 and the 750. The physical size of the units are slightly different. The 680 is 4.4" high, while the 750 is 4.44". That is 4/100 of an inch, and while it may not seem like a lot, it can make a difference in the screen. If the one for the 750 is larger due to the size difference, that would make it ever so slightly too large for the 680, which is what I am seeing. Having to put the edges under the bezel is unacceptable to me. I have never had to do that with any other screen protector from them, and I'm not about to start now. I've got a Martin Fields coming to me, will see how that one fits.

But not from Seidio, I got mine from wirelessground.com. They seem to have there own variation as do other companies I've seen online. The reason why I ordered from this site vs. Seidio was the price difference and the fact that I've been ordering from them for about 2 years now. They list theirs for $14.99 plus $3.95 shipping. I've had it for a day now and so far so good. If this thing breaks soon I'll jump ship and order the real deal from Seidio. I'll let yall know how Wirelessground's rubberized case stands up to the test of time.

Got my black case from Treocentral yesterday. The Seidio rubberized case is really good, nice fit and really looks good with the copper colored phone, sort of an orange/black color scheme. My only concern is that it was hard to snap on initally, so I am wondering how strong are the snaps locking it in place. Has anyone had any problems with their case popping open during normal use? How about multiple times of removing it to do soft resets, do the snaps loosen up? Just curious, so far I'm lovin' the case.
