Hi mattlaughs, do you mean that the 680 can be modified with an after market antenna to improve its reception? Sorry if I don't quite get you.

    Thanks.
You confuse this case with skin case. This is a thin , hard plastic case.

Oh, this is a hard case? How is the feel, is it slightly tacky like a silicone case? I like the way the silicone cases feel, they give it a very secure grip in my hand and if I put it in the car seat or on my leg, etc.

And how is the assembly/disassembly? Difficult? Sturdy? It would be necessary to open it occationally to do a soft reset I'm sure, so I'd hope it can stand repeated openings and closings without damage.

Hmmm...yeah, what does Seidio mean by "rubberized"? I'd also like to know how the Treo is inserted into the case: I switch batteries when needed instead of charging the Treo itself...will the case stand frequent removal (or opening/closing)?

We call it rubberized, but it is simply a soft touch coating that feels very much like the Treo 750. It gives you a better grip but isn't as tacky as a silicon case.
I'd also like to know how the Treo is inserted into the case:
The case is in two pieces...front and back. You simply clip the two together.

The case comes with instructions on the best way to open and close it. If you follow these instructions it should last through plenty of reinstalls.

Am I right in assuming that since this is a hard case, it won't accomodate the new Extended Battery Cover?

If that's true, are you planning on producing a backside for this case that will?

Yes, we are working on a case that will accommodate our extended battery. I don't have an ETA on it yet, but we will definitely post when it's available.

    Thanks

seidioseidio do you run or work with seidioonline.com? If so I ordered something on the 22 and it still says in progress in the webpage. I emailed them yesterday but didn't get a response yet. I just want to know if and when my stuff is going to ship.

Some of the customer service emails are automated. I always encourage forum people to contact Margaret at 832-204-1118. She is the customer service manager and can get things taken care of.

    Thanks

    Thanks,

Well she told me something is back ordered. I wish I could have just gotten that in the reply in my email I sent instead of having to call.

I hope I get my order soon, I ordered the 1300 mAh battery and the MULTI-FUNCTION BATTERY / SMARTPHONE CHARGER FOR TREO. Both say they are "Shipping Now!!" on the website.

Right now we are only producing the clear crystal case and the rubberized case. We've talked about producing some other colors but I don't have any more information right now. We will definitely post here and let you know if anything changes.

    Thanks
