We are currently working on a replacement for the original 680 that won't require an extended door. We will definitely build the largest battery we can in the limited space available.

    seidioseidio,

Why have I received two Verizon colored covers for my 700P that don't fit correctly? This last one they sent me still leaves a bit of an exposed edge on one side. The first one was pathetic. Should I try asking the treocentral store for another replacement, or do you have any better ideas?

Maybe Vaja will make new cases for them if more than one manufacturer makes the extended batteries?

    Bump. Any new news?

I might get this battery, but only if it works with the Palm T650 Cradle (when they make the T650 3200mAh battery and extended battery cover).

I'm finding that my T650 Vaja I-volution case (with the protective flip cover) is getting more loose (over 1 year old) and is easier for my T650 to slide out. Normally, this bothers me, but if the (eventual) extended battery case makes my T650 more sung in the Vaja case, even better.

I got my 3200mAh battery today. The included battery cover is really bad. When looking at the back of my 700WX straight on, the top left of the battery cover doesn't match up with the rest of the back of the Treo so there's a bigger gap at the top left of the battery cover. Looks like they just ripped this off the plastic piece the battery cover was molded out of.

seidioseidio, can you please help me with this? I've had problems with your regular battery covers in the past as well. Your manufacturer's quality control on these things is really bad.

I have been using the 3200mAh batttery and poorly designed cover for a week now. The battery life is what I expected and I do use the 650 cradle, Plam OEM, to charge and sync. I have found that by removing the cover, I have no connectivity issues at all.

It's relieving to know that my problem with the covers is shared by others, although I don't wish it on anyone. I'm hoping to receive a well-tested and corrected cover from Seidio soon.

I've dealt with Seidio before regarding these battery covers that they produce for Treos. Usually, they've just sent me another one without me having to send the defective one back in. Makes sense as it probably costs more to send them back to Seidio than it does to produce them.

Our battery doors have always been one of the hardest things we make, especially for Treo. It is not a matter of poor design or quality control, but difficulty in tooling. Palm makes the entire chassis, then simply cuts it into two pieces giving you the smallest of gaps. We don't have this luxury. We have to do the best we can with the limitations we're given. I have posted some pics to let you know what your battery door should look like. If your door is different then we can definitely swap it out for you. If it's not and it just doesn't live up to your expectations please contact Customer Service for a refund.

Seidio sent me a replacement cover, but it was the wrong one. They told me to keep it, and they'll send me the right replacement, but I haven't heard anything from them since.

Perhaps they sent it but neglected to tell me about it?
