    Two things:

1)This should be posted in MarketPlace
2)Are you affiliated with the folks who created www.freewarepalm.com?

Thanks for the information. I noticed a lot of the software is PalmOS 5+ compatible. Having access to legally free software applications is part of what attracted me to Linux. Seeing the same being offered for PalmOS users is also good. Do the software developers accept donations from users of their software similar to open source software like Amarok, Gimp, etc for Linux?

You need to include the platforms that have been confirmed through testing for each software. There is no way I'm loading software on my (stable) Treo 650 unless it has been verified I've had too many problems in the past.

I welcome any site that contains free Palm software, though!
NiceGPSuperior1 is a free GPS program, now with the ability to save your map! Get more info here. It's free! If you like this app and want to encourage development, you can donate from the web page link.

NiceDrudgeReader is a fast, simple reader for The Drudge Report. It is only $0.99, so check it out, too! More info here.

Search for "Nice" in the app catalog to see all my apps.

    1) You may be right
    2) we are not affiliated with freewarepalm.com , and we have collecting free palm os software long ago and we have more than twice software as they do

    Sounds like a nice one...
I have been thinking about a site to allow comemrcia software, but without the typical 40% fees taken by site managers... that would work betetr for developpers, and we coudl aim for cheaper software as well...

Interesting? Are you saying you are actually older than freewarepalm.com?

In any case, thanks for the info. More freeware sites the better all around...

This is a freewarepalm rip off. They haven't been around longer then freewarepalm. They just stole their idea, website structure, and software titles.

I am a freeware author I created a treo backup tool, and submited it to freewarepalm.com

    http://www.freewarepalm.com/authors/...iddleton.shtml

I never submitted or gave person for freeware-backup.com. But here is my software on their site:

    http://www.freeware-palm.com/download-backup-v1-0.html

This site is trying to profit from freewarepalms success. They don't even store the freeware. Only give users a link to the authors server.

I would recommend not using this site, they have nothing the real freewarepalm.com, they just want a cut of the advertising money. Plus the real freewarepalm.com never went around spam all the palm, and treo web forums they could find

I wouldn't open a restaurant across from a McDonald's and call it McDonald and claim that I offer more items on the menu than they do.
