We're working on polishing the PivotCE article. Release images are already there. You'll need to flash CM 12.1 on Mako (N4), Maguro (Galaxy Nexus) and/or Hammerhead (N5)! Images might be a bit hard to track down currently due to CyanogenMod being down.

    Filenames are:

    Mako: cm-12.1-20151007-SNAPSHOT-YOG4PAO334-mako.zip
    Hammerhead: cm-12.1-20150901-SNAPSHOT-YOG4PAO237-hammerhead.zip
    Maguro: cm-12.1-20160719-SNAPSHOT-YOG7DAO8DL-maguro.zip

I have copies locally so could share them somewhere I guess.

Will there be instructions posted somewhere about how to flash CM 12.1 onto an N4 with LuneOS installed?

Basically you use CWM to flash the ZIP of CM 12.1, then you boot into CM 12.1 once, reboot and use CWM to flash the new LuneOS build.

So there's no need to remove LuneOS before using CWM?

That's right. The install from recovery takes care of that for you. It is a good idea to do a device wipe from recovery first though. I prefer TWRP. I used to love CWM until I tried TWRP.

You might need to wipe the cache or do a factory reset for it to flash, bit it should work.

For those looking for a copy, this kind gentleman is hosting one (I used this one successfully):
    https://forum.xda-developers.com/sho...postcount=4264

I also found this one but haven't tried it:
    http://mirrors.reflected.net/pub/get.cm/jenkins/170583/

I found installing CM12.1 and LuneOS one after the other in TWRP worked fine. It's much snappier than it once was.

I'm not sure why, but I only have the 10-04 nightly instead of the 10-07 snapshot for mako downloaded. Can't see them being much different, but I'll download the snapshot anyway. Edit: so I did have it in a different folder. Problem with having my master on a portable drive.. end up with different sets of files sometimes..

Why does the article say to boot up cm12.1 once before installing LuneOS? I've always flashed the cm and LuneOS zips both at the same time. Saves a lot of time.

I think it's more a precaution to make sure everything is in place firmware wise, settings etc on Android side. Not sure it's 100% needed, but worth the few extra mins.
