One fine morning I have seen some color patches and distorted image from the HDMI input (cable box). It kept deteriorating and the whole input started showing blank / black screen.

However, webOS buttons used to work.. and smart apps such as YouTube from Web OS menu used to work fine, and no issues with the display.

I have thought that its something to do with the connection or problem with the cable etc.

I have disconnected all the inputs and powered on the TV.

Right now, there is nothing shown on the TV, except the cursor from the magic remote.I cant even open settings (to reset WebOS).

This is a wall mounted TV and there is no physical damage. I strongly believe that this is a software issue. Any help please.

LG Support is of no help for over 3 months now.
