Bad news for those in countries with limited content looking to get Netflix access through other countries via VPN .... Netflix is cracking down and blocking all access to those using VPN, proxies, or unblocking services.

Up until now, Netflix has pretty much looked the other way when it came to members using VPN, proxies, or unblocking services to get access to content available in other countries. But that ride is coming to an end as Netflix has officially announced they will be turning off those access points and blocking users using those services. Members who keep attempting to access will have their accounts banned.

I'm sure this is going to make plenty of LG webOS TV users angry enough to spit fire in 4K HD for this annoyance. Fortunately.... Netflix has admitted that it's a pretty trivial matter to get around the VPN block by simply switching IP addresses. LOL

Yep, the folks over at Unblock-US are apparently 'unfazed' by the announcement: Netflix: Website that unlocks US content claims content being blocked | The Australian

If they are serious about it, they would probably monitor which IP the account was created from, and watch any IP addresses that access the account in the future. If you always go through a VPN, that should be easy to get around. However, if you manage to connect to Netflix from somewhere else, it might raise a red flag...
