sorry to hear. You can get the webos 2.0 version for $849 @ microcenter. 55" 4K. It's not 3D, but do you really use that? I have the same TV as you and the 3D was a waste for me.

Ouch... so sorry to hear the news. I don't have a solution to offer, but how did the crack happen? Was is just a random crack that developed, or did it get bumped somehow?

Bumped and the worst thing is it's brand new I never got to experience Webos well just a warning to everyone. PROTECT YOUR TV LIKE ITS YOUR LIFE! It's insanely priced to get it services.

Oh boy... that must be one severe crack!

No that's the sad thing no matter what. If it has a crack you have to pay that price so much for having a Webos smart tv

My condolences. This is the world we live in now. Costs of repair vs manufacture make almost everything disposable. Maybe the dealer can exchange it and return it to LG as damaged in shipping, or something else to get you a discount. Try to find a replacement panel and install it yourself.

Thanks! Does anyone have any tips for using the webos TV?

Tough question... the system is so easy that I don't know of any true tips. Haha My biggest tip is to get a sound bar to use with it if you don't have one already. I picked one up and it was well worth the $ for the richer sound.

Another nice app to play with is the SmartShare service to view pictures and videos from your computer or tablet.
