I've read that 04.30.08 fixes Plex/Smartshare so it remembers your settings and you don't have to go into device connector every time you want to use it?

It was on a slightly confusing Russian to English translation though so can anyone confirm it's better now??

My TV is currently on 03.23.34 and would dearly love the Plex issue to be sorted so I can start using the TV instead of my Raspberry Pi!

To be fair, nowhere in the packaging or materials that came with the TV was Bluetooth mentioned, so my initial assumption was that bluetooth wasn't supported, so it's not like I can complain I was misled.

LG certainly have the right to do what they're doing, but it's a pet peeve of mine when a manufacturer takes a standard technology and hobbles it so it will only function with their branded peripherals, or substitutes a proprietary technology for a proven standard one simply to lock customers in to always buy their branded accessories. I'm sure the prospect of doing this gets the bean counters in the corner offices salivating, but I think there's more likelihood of it blowing up in your face than there is of you securing an Apple style cash cow accessories market.

This isn't a PlayStation or XBOX, it's a TV - you don't have exclusive content that will majorly influence people's buying decisions. Yes you have what is arguably the best UI right now, but when the other companies TV's improve (and they certainly will) and the salespeople in Best Buy start telling customers that the LG and Brand X are about the same feature-wise but while Brand X will work with third party accessories you may already have, with the LG you'll have to re-buy stuff that costs a couple hundred bucks, what do you think those customers are going to do? LG's already cut prices to spur sales, so clearly they''re aware that prospective customers are looking for deals, so why the incongruence?

I'm assuming (hoping?) that this will get fixed in an update. Bluetooth should be universal. I think they havn't had time to address it yet. yeah, that's the ticket!

Create a folder "LG_DTV" in the root of USB flash-drive, copy your update file there/ turn on TV after inserting the flash drive to TV, a message appears in the open smart ball, click No, the next window is already proposed to update and forward. The main thing is not off the TV and stick. The installation progress can be seen in general-information on the TV.

Yes, this firmware is compatible with LB650-LB870. I also recommend to try verdion 04.30.08 before 04.30.09.
