The free version has only two tunings, Standard (E) and Dropped-D.
The pro version has 11 tunings, including: Open E (for slide guitar) Pentatonic Open G Open D Open C Open A Dropped-C Up 1/2 step (standard F) Down 1/2 step (standard Eb) Dropped-D Standard (E) Tune Your Guitar Pro |

Noted. I never use anything but standard tuning, so those alternate tunings are of no interest to me.
What I would really like to see is a "real" guitar tuner, where you play the string and an indicator on the phone (needle or bars, etc) would tell you when you are in tune. I assume mic API necessary before an app like that could be made?

Do you have the Guitarists' Reference app by any chance and looked at their tuner? Seems fairly similar to yours, I've bounced back & forth between that one and TYG free.
