So does this mean that the initial build of webOS 2.0 is already being tested out?
No webOS 1.5 then, which is quite possible considering it's being aimed to be released in next 3-4 months. |

What I do like about the codename, if it is indeed such, is that it implies speed. Oh, and an uncanny ability to outwit Wile E. Coyote.

My guess is that it's a codename for a device they're testing right now. The fact that the device is mature enough that they're installing 3rd party apps on it is a great sign! It's possible someone is even using the phone daily in the wild, but I doubt that.
If I see more than 1 user show up in my logs with a RoadRunner, I'll let everyone know about it. It's also possible this is a hoax by someone who modified the emulator in some way. |

Obviously not for Palm stuff, but I'm not sure about other companies.
Plus, the source for foursquare is open and on GitHub. Someone with the knowledge could easily download the source, modify the Metrix JS library I have included, and force it to post to my Metrix stats with whatever string they want. Granted, it would take some effort, but it's doable. Is it likely? Not extremely. I think this may well be legit, which would be pretty awesome. It means end of the year for a new device isn't that crazy of an idea. |
