Has anyone ever used their Veer (or Pre) as a helmet or handlebar mounted camera? Looking at some setups like the Muvi Pro, they only have a 2MP camera. The Veer seems like it would work well because of it's size.

Helmet mount would be best. Too much shake at the handlebars. Your body would absorb a lot of that and result in a cleaner shot if helmet mounted. Maybe start with one of those dash mount phone holders and make some mods + add in Velcro straps.

OK... Was just poking around looking for a car mount and found this handlebar mount...
Maybe with some foam inserts to position the Veer correctly? Arkon Sm032 Handlebar Mount for Most Smartphones - Walmart.com
