Default Replacement Veer Battery?

Anyone know where to buy a replacement Veer battery (157-10151-00 3.7vdc 920mah 3.4mwh MH29634)?
Thx.

I figured it would be a unique, low demand battery with a high replacement cost. So I went out and bought a spare Veer for $60.

There was a member clearing out a bunch of webOS stuff in Marketplace not too long ago. (It's a closed thread now) He had Veer batteries on his list of items.

I've never been sure about where to find one either. I do know it was revealed in the Veer disassemble that webOS Internals did that the battery is in fact a replaceable unit - I'm just not sure that any vendors produced batteries for this short production run device

Yeah, I popped the back off according to the webos nation instructions... not difficult. The battery is unique in that the power contacts are on the battery body (not edge)... never seen anything like that before.

Cheers. If I don't find another battery, i'm gonna miss my veer.

That's a major reason I got a Pre 2, because I expected to be with webOS for the long haul

Just received mine this morning, it fits perfectly inside the cage, the battery is correctly recognized and Dr. Battery shows all battery parameters. Battery health need to be tested over several weeks but so far so good.

After dropping my Veer and the screen stopped working I figured I had nothing to lose by pulling the battery. I used my thumb nail around the edge, popped the back off, removed the battery holder (stainless steel) and pulled the battery. It was easy as pie. Not something I would do regularly (like travelling with a spare battery) but easy to do.
BTW, when I reassembled it, the screen was working again. :-)
