Obviously price is a pro. What are the cons?
Hows coverage, Data speed. Can I use all my apps?

gps is poor, but that's a webos issue in general. As is a lack of apps. Otherwise I love my veer. Had it since launch.

ah yeah also it gets a bit warm when using 3g. I disable 3g and data to prolong battery life

Pros - small (I wear it in my pocket 12 hours a day), unique, enough apps to keep me happy, good camera, good mp3 player, gps works great for me with smart runner, good for mail, increased font size for texting - good now, solid feel and solid phone, funky earphone adapter and charger, but I use T.S., Bluetooth works good(I leave it on 24/7) keyboard blows away the Pre-, coverage is as good as my Pre-.

Cons - screen too small for surfing the web but ok for looking stuff up (sports scores weather forecast, etc.), I just use wifi (no data plan) but haven't missed data too often, no flash for camera, limited apps, no interchangeable battery but hasn't been a problem yet.

Love it so much I sold my Pre- and bought a spare Veer.

Erm, guys? I think he means ST performance pros and cons - not Veer pros and cons.

My experience with ST is pretty good with a Pre 2. No carrier issues after the configuration to their settings. I can't answer if you'll get 4g or not as my phone is only 3g capable...

It is piggybacking on AT&T's network. I would think the only apps you would loose would be any AT&T specific ones.

I've been running our Veers on ST (AT&T) for 4 months. Other than horrible CS for set up it has been seemless since. I find I have less bars than I did with sprint on my pre2....but the speeds are SOOOO much better. I've tethered occasionally without a problem. All in all i'm very satisfied.

Hook up with me for MMS settings or do a search. That change will need to be made for texting Pics

I have a Veer of ATT and one on ST. Can't tell the difference. Just make sure you get the settings right.

App Catalog is determined based on country, not on operator/carrier!
