just got my veer today graduating from my pre 2 and I am running into a huge problem with my wpa wifi. It "connects" but ip configuration will fail. So I enter in a random ip and it fully connects but I obviously can't do anything with an ip I wasn't assigned so I turn back on the auto settings and I'm back to square one

Log into your router to check the DHCP server for what IP it assigned to your device. Collect the Gateway and DNS IPs too. Afterwards input that into your wifi connection on the phone to see how it fairs.

    -Rebooted the router yet?
-Tried disabling encryption on the router?
    -Rebooted the phone?
