veer stuck with hp logo

my veer was just stuck with the hp logo-nothing worked to get it into usb mode.ringer 3x + pwr or alt, sym r...called hp after 20 minutes they had me try a few other things finally this worked: hold pwr button and switch ringer on/off until screen goes blank (it took five times), when screen goes blank hit volumn up, then plug in to pc. it put my phone in usb mode and I was able to run webOS doctor, while hp support is waiting on hold-it will take about 20 minutes..so if I need to call back I don't get someone else. Finally something hp does that makes sense.

Amazing that you had to Dr your phone. Any idea what caused the issue?

I've had to do it a couple of times already.. certain downloads screw up my screen when swiping everything from the bottom ..slides up the screen, I guess the veer is more sensitive than the pre+ was.

Solution, not resolution
