Which one do you think is a better deal?

Personally, I'd take the Veer at that price difference.

Veer runs circles around the Pixi.

    - GPS turn by turn directions (w/ NDrive)
    - iPhone 4 processing specs
    - Glass screen (instead of plastic)
    - Voice recording
    - Voice dialing

Pixi won't have any of these... its worth the extra $50 trust me

    HI
If you are not in the US, by Unlocking the VEER, you can use 3G Data. Espsly In INDIA with BSNL 3G it is excellent.I am sure in other countries also this may be true.

Very cute, small, with lots of functions.
    My vote is for VEER

I don't have my Veer yet but I know that's a little steep for the Pixi, they have been 40-60 brand new on the deal sites all year. the GSM version even appeared recently. Great little phone though. the Verizon version is 25 bucks today on dailysteals.com in fact!

    Veer 100%
I love physical keyboards... but there is two devices that would make me consider a slab, one is something running a full version of Open webOS. The other is an iPhone!!!! HA HA just kidding (about the iPhone that is)...

Veer 100%. It is a head turner phone. I bought 2 for my sisters to replace their feature phones and now 4 other family members want one. IT is a much faster/better phone than Pixi and even better than Pre in some instances. The only thing I don't like about it is the lower resolution that limits the number of apps it can run (uses pixi resolution instead of Pre's so for you it doesn't matter).

I just bought a veer last week and my friend bought a Pixi Plus both phones are good but I would say veer is better.

    Veer Pros Over Pixi Plus
    1. Better 3G Speed at least in India (avg 5MB - 6MB) on Airtel 3G
    2. Better Screen Than Pixi Plus (Gorilla Glass)
    3. Easier to Configure Office Communicator (Personal)
    4. Better Applications Support For WebOS 2.1.2
    5. Upgradable to 2.2.3 / 2.2.4 (Risky, I Dint Do It)

    Pixi Plus Pros Over Veer
    1. Better Loud Speaker Than Veer (For Music and Ring Tones)
    2. Better Keyboard (Slightly Bigger Than Veer, Dint Matter Much To Me)
    3. Dedicated 3.5 MM Audio Jack (Veer Has This Problem)

Pixi Plus Needs To Be Set For 3G Data manually by editing the Database, there is a thread for that.

Personal Opinion Veer, Rest is your Choice.

Definitely the Veer. It is modern and fast, though the tiny screen takes some getting used to. The magnetic connectors are great, and you use the touchstone as normal.
