With -15 I had battery drain for the first few days and in Govnah I would notice the CPU at 1.1 all the time and wouldn't throttle down. The past couple days have been fine though with no battery drain. Trying -16 now. Thanks codecrumb!

Hm, today a good friend from a german webOS-forum asked me about problems with freetether.. I told him the problems here with warthog, freetether and flightmode-issues. We tested again and i found something out: After using the freetether-app my govnah shows again NO DOWNSCALING and went very slow. So i deleted freetether, made a restart and everything went ok!! It was the freetether-app, which was making my downscale-issues! Could that be???

BTW: Warthog-16 works like a charm for me, battery-drain is really low, veer is really fast!! Thank you, codecrumb!

I just updated the kernel build infrastructure to support 2.1.1 and released the Palm Recovery Kernel and the UberKernel.

I expect other experimental kernels to follow.

The Warthog for 2.1.2 runs even on 2.1.1 Devices, no problems so far...

I'm also testing Warthog on my (german) Veer 2.1.1

Can confirm that Warthog is not available for me from webos-kernels/testing/2.1.1/ in preware, but using the 2.1.2 testing feed works.

My little Veer runs fine so far, but I miss CIFS support. Are you planning to add this, codecrumb?

Thanks for all the comments and your support!

Any recommendation for the adavanced profile settings in Govnah ?

My take on CIFS is that it should be compiled in as a module along with NFS. Right now the kernel packaging system is not set up to do the proper depmods as part of the packing/repacking process.

Bug Rod to add that (aka donate to @webosinternals or buy PHD!) and I'll put CIFS support in once that's done.

the only thing i changed in comparison to the "default" profile is the CPU Frequenz => Max. Frequenz 1.1136 GHz => then "Aktualisieren" and "Als neues Profil speichern" - then you're ready amazing responsive the veer
