hmmm... no more overclocking for my 2.1.1 veer... warthog-installing failed, preware says: you`ve not the right version... Uberkernel is really slow, veer needs 3,5 minutes to boot, no scaling over 806mhz, everthing slows down with uberkernel... whats up with warthog for 2.1.1?

    thanks in advance,

    sascha

where can I find this one? I can't seem to find any newer warthog kernels since warthog-veer-15... not even in the 2.1.1 testing feeds

Another important obligation is to read and follow the rules. The post above violates those rules. Please remove it and point to testing.preware.org directly.

Installed the warhog the other night and it is blazing fast. I restarted the device and it boot looped 2 or 3 times before fully booting up. I clocked it back down to 1. whatever the next level down is and did not have the problem anymore. Still at that speed, it is super fast.

Im still thinking about getting warthog instead of uberK. What extra options do you get in Govnah using warthog? Speed is not a reason for me to change, efficiency is .

I don't know what difference are but the WH kernel has run smoothly for me. I haven't had any issues with temp, battery life, TMC errors. My only complaint now is web cards timing out in the background and that's not a OC kernel issue.

Well i just updated the last UberK which lets you OC up to 1.2G. My Veer has a faster response now with the speed up to 1.0G (which barely goes up that high) and battery drain is considerably less running at 122mhz. I still dont get any options for Compressed Swap though, but thats okay, im using Jstop anyways

So im sticking with Uber for now.

I can't get to the compressed mem settings on WH either. Hadn't even thought about using compressed mem though. Using compressed mem didn't do anything for my pixi and the veer runs almost everything smoother anyways.

so are most people running uberkernel with the veer?
  14. #194
there has not been action here for awhile... Did development stop? Will these ever be available on main stream preware?
    thanks

warthog is never intended as a mainstream kernel. it will always be in the alpha or beta channels.

no new release needed if everything works.
  16. #196
thanks so much for all your hard work on warthog. I thought uberkernel was supposed to be mainstream, though.

Hi I'm Veer user I'm a bit puzzled but the first post.

    Is the tally still running?
    What is memboot?
Does it mean that when donations reach $499 warthog will be posted in the production feeds?

    1. No idea
    2. When you hold the volume up and power on your phone it puts it in recovery mode before it loads the OS. Kinda like entering the BIOS on a computer.
    3. I think he means preware feeds for the general public

Main Page - WebOS Internals great site for learning more then you ever wanted to know about WebOS

running 20 no issues to date.

    2. Recovery mode, not USB mode. Two very different things.

I just tried the new uberkernel that hit the veer beta. Thanks for all your work as it booted perfectly. I am running screenstate 1.4 but when I open xecutah and run cat /proc/cpuinfo it shows me running @932.90 when in govnah it says 1.4.
