Just bought my Veer to use outside of US

I finally bought my Veer from Ebay. Seller said that the phone is unlocked but not activated. How can I activate the phone? Am I able to activate and create a profile from a different country (with impostah or something else) or do I have to create and activate the phone inside US?

If you want to be able to purchase apps you will either have to activate it in the US or use Impostah to activate it. If you don't mind either only free apps or no apps at all you can just activate it in your own country.

It should work. But no one can guarantee it. The app catalog has a mind of it's own.
