    My 32gb Touchpad has 99 files in the media/internal/downloads folder that look like this:

    .MTNiODczMzY0ZDNlYTc3MXwwLjEuMQ==_99

    and another huge bunch of files that look like this:

    .noncesigner_492

    Can I delete them?

    The .Palm is the crypto file system, which looks like some crypto files are in your download, not sure if you can delete them or not (maybe some app) used the crypto api? Not sure if it was exposed via Enyo, Mojo or the PDK?

    Thanks John!

    They're not large (1.22KB and 1.10KB each, respectively), but it just is a pain when trying to find something in that folder and having to scroll through page after page to get past them. Would not be a problem if Internalz had a type to search function to save me from having to scroll.

    Guess I better hold onto them :-(

    I would start by figuring out what the files are. Try opening them with Internalz or using strings command in a shell.

    "MTNiODczMzY0ZDNlYTc3MXwwLjEuMQ==" translates to "13b873364d3ea771|0.1.10" -- 0.1.10 looks like version string; do you have any software in this version?

    "nonce" suggests some kind of authentication, although I (not being a cryptographer) see little reason to save value that by definition is used only once

    When I open the file named

    .MTNiODczMzY0ZDNlYTc3MXwwLjEuMQ==_99

    using Internalz, I get the following:

    <HTML>

    <TITLE>Moved Temporarily</TITLE>
    </HEAD>
    <BODY BGCOLOR="#FFFFFF" TEXT="#000000">

    </HTML>

    FYI, I modified this to remove someone's name where it says [NAME REMOVED]

    Looks like it is related to Google Docs download? I don't recall downloading anything from there on my Touchpad?

    That is a webpage that was downloaded instead of displaying in the browser, prob due to an unrecognized mime type. Stuff like that will accumulate in /downloads when you visit incompatible web pages sometimes. Anything in downloads should be safe to delete, but just check the contents first.

    Done, with no deleterious effect.
