N00b question, i know. But i'm trying to diagnose why my TP won't boot (after a hard reboot), and there's an impossible amount of chatter in /var/log/messages, so i'd have a much easier time analyzing the log if i could pull in the entire file rather than opening it in VI and scrolling around.
To anyone telling me to "just Doctor!", sorry, no. This machine has had all the databases fail, besides objects.db, which remained functional until the hard reboot, and as a result, has not synced to Profile for six months. My last manual backup was a week before it failed, so there's a fair amount of stuff i'd rather keep, like a week's worth of Memos and browser history.
I will be Doctoring later today to use it for Palm Profile reverse-engineering, but first i'd rather see what's wrong and back up my databases, app data and USB partition.
To answer my own question, it's:
and similarly, to send file:
novacom get file:///var/db/main/objects.db > /home/x/objects.db
novacom put file:///var/db/main/objects.db < /home/x/objects.db
