    Hello,
i have a probllem with my TP and i hope to find an answer here.
First, it's still only in WebOS not Android
The problem began, when i start to delete peronal settings by pressing this button in the setting area.
    After then:
The TP starts, HP Logo starts, then comes a white screen, onethird of the screen shows a blue sky with clouds
and in the middle of the screen rotades a grey round button.
    Thats it!
When i run the WEbosdoctor it stops a 4%
It is possible to switch to recovery-mode, the TP battery is charching,
The TP is recogniced by Windows 7 64bit in the device manager as a Palm Device (bootie)

    Is it a flash- problem?

    Any help is welcome!

I don't have the sites but Just google "Touchpad freezes at 4%" and you should find several sites with instructions on how to fix it

Yes i googled a lot and i found very much stuff, but when i tried the tipps they didn't work.
it always stopped at the same line. It's also possible to connect with Novaterm but i can only use the commands
that are signed in the "Help" position. When i try to use the lvm-commands it is not recognised, but this should be to restore the TP. I don't know how do make this.

I posted in this thread about 2 weeks ago.

    HP logo screen unresponsive

There is a package of files and a set of Instructions included in this zip file (I didn't write the instructions)

Also, check out these 3 sites and see if any of this can help you:

    Thanks,
but i worked all those tipps before. No one hit the button
I think, when i can not flash the TP, it's really bricked.
In the WebOs-log the last line shows a flash failure and even with Novaterm it's not possible to run the LVM-commands. The TP is on the PC only recognized as harddrive.

    A new situation,
i found out that this TP must be a Prototyp because there's no serial or other number.
When i start the devicetool.jar the screen show:
    found device:topaz-bootie
    copying ram disk . . . . . .
    Rebooting device . . . .
    (after rebooting manually)
    Configuring device . . . . .
(when aborting after an long time by disconnecting USB)

    Warnung: throwing Exeption Cmd: file:///usr/sbin/lvm.static
java.io.IoExeption: No return code found in stream from file:///usr/sbin/lvm.static
Error: Device has been disconnected.command i run file:///bin/sync

    And nothing changed.
