That will have to come from your employer. There will be a particular server address and a domain name you have to append to the front of your username, like this:

    domain\username

and then your password. That's how my account works, anyway.

If you have another computer or appliance for which your mail account still works, you should be able to pull up all of that info. Otherwise, you'll have to ask the IT people at work for your information.

    Good luck!

Yup, what krotech said! Especially easy to forget the domain\ part, assuming this is a corporate Exchange account.

If you're doing some kind of Outlook Exchange / MS365 thing, this recent thread might also be helpful:[Solved] Microsoft Outlook Certificate Expired ?

But back to corp. Exchange, my employer still has Exchange settings for the Palm Pre called out on our support site.

This started out with expired certificate problem. Thinking it was related to the major problems I was just recovering from on the TP from which I essentially had to start from scratch on everything, I removed my Hotmail and MS Exchange and attempted to relink. That's where my current problem is. I can't reestablish the links. Hotmail does not come up as an email selection and MS Exchange insists on a server and domain name. These are not business related accounts, just personal home use. Is there someplace I can look on my Hotmail or Exchange account on another computer to find this information?

Server is https://m.hotmail.com for US accounts (not sure about others. I have also used m.outlook.com at times I believe). You can leave the domain blank.

    that worked. Thanks

would you happen to know what username is needed? It's not the hotmail account name.

Username is your full email address.

    tried that, it doesn't work.

message box says bad user name or password. Could it be something else?

    Hi,

Up to yesterday I used outlook.com to synchronize my Outlook 2007 and my Pre3 Calender. I got my mails using my POP email account.

Now, our company moved to full (Office365) Exchange. And I have trouble creating my new account. I don't know which Server I should put in? I think before I used https://m.outlook.com as suggested before, but that does not work anymore. (Username or password incorrect)

So I tried https://login.microsoftonline.com As this is the login landing page for the web front (desktop wise). And now I get: "Invalid EAS Server URL" When I try https://outlook.office365.com I get "configuration of mailing server could not be confirmed"

    NEVERMIND

I got it to work. Must have been a typo. So just for people having the same problem:

    It is https://outlook.office365.com

    Everything else is the same.
