    For those who will dive head first into ACL for TP when it's released, what app will you grab first? I think I'll go for Firefox personally.

    I too am most interested in browsers. Chrome, Firefox, hell I'd even be happy if dolphin worked on it...

    If it works then i think boat browser would be the first. A really excellent browser better than all others imho. After that i suppose an array of video/music players, ebook readers (although i am quite satisfied with our homebrew version), dropbox, adobe reader with note taking ability, games and more stuff i haven't began to think about.

    Now i can't wait, lol.

    It's 2.3.6 as of now, unless OM and Phoenix decide to upgrade to a newer version before release, but I doubt that

    Browsers = Firefox, Dolphin, Boat
    For my young son (don't forget the family, Phoenix!!) = Lego Duplo Train!
    For my expense management = Expensify
    For my organisation = Simplenote and ToodleTasks (though WebOS versions good)
    For my spare time = Zinio and maybe the BBC iPlayer (UK)
    For video communication = Oovoo (or Skype)

    ???

    Erm... How do Android 2.3 browsers stack up against the webOS native browser? Are they not just as outdated?

    Isn't 2011 -vs- 2011 the same outdated tech?

    ???

    You guys are killing me with this 2.3 vs 4.x thing. I own a 2.3 phone and I run 4.2.2 on my TouchPad. I can count on one hand the apps that I have in 4.x that don't work in 2.3. Dolphin, Firefox, and UC Browser work fine. The apps look that same on both and when I receive updates for the apps on 4.x, I get the same updates on 2.3.

    Sorry, wasn't trying to be a **** hole, there just seems to be this perception that 2.3 is so ancient that absolutely nothing will work on it, so ACL will be worthless. The vast majority of Android apps run on 2.3. 4.x has not caught on as much as it should have and Android is very lacking in tablet specific apps.
