Hi,
Does anyone know any site/store where I could buy parts for the HP Touchpad. I only need the 'Control Button Assembly' Installing HP TouchPad Control Button Assembly - Page 2 - iFixit which contains the volume up and down, power button and light sensor. Thanks for anyone that could help. |

I was struggling to open up my son's touchpad case to replace the screen he recently dropped/cracked. He is beside himself for being so stupid. I felt lucky to have found a replacement touchscreen which I now have in my possession. Unfortunately, I hacked up the control button assembly when I got the device open. I can't seem to find any on eBay. Does someone in this forum have an alternate source? Pretty desperate here with a despondent kid. Any help is very, very appreciated!

If you just need the ribbon cable and buttons that are attached to the plastic then read this thread. It may take up to 3 weeks but it's cheap.
