The new Isis browser, new Memos, and a second Google maps for the HP Touch Pad.

This post is to inform people of the new developments and three new developments for WebOS with links to follow on how to install the new applications. Remember that you are soley responsible for whatever happens which includes bricking your Touch Pad in the process.

1. Open WebOS Notes. Simply enable beta feeds on your Touch Pad from Preware and download them.

3. Another version of Googe Maps that is very much Alpha: Instructions are download the file and put it into a download folder on your HP Touch Pad, open Preware and go to install package sand navigate to the file and select install and you will have it automatically installed for you. The download can be found at: webOS

There you go. These applications will give your Touch Pad a small taste of some of the next gen efforts for WebOS so stayed tuned at WebOS nations for more.

Well it technically inst a whole new maps application so I figured it wouldn't matter what I called it, even though that's what it's called.

They call it Phx Maps. Not Google Maps or "Another Version of Google Maps."

You are right though. It technically is not a whole new map application, yet they chose to put the name Phx Maps on it as if they reinvented the wheel...
