Created an OpenSearch provider for Microsoft's Bing search engine.

Simply, open the URL and wait a few seconds for the "Web Search Engine Available" notification to appear:

    http://goo.gl/ydv9W

Unfortunately, have been unable to get the browser to detect this change as the 'default web search engine'.

If anyone know how to fix the browser settings, please let me know.

I'd really like this for Ixquick. an anonymous search engine I use (from the browser).

I think part of ixquick's privacy measures include the requirement for the search form to POST rather than GET results. OpenSearch, which is the protocol the TouchPad supports for adding search engines, currently only supports those that permit "GET". You can see how, in the following, Google and Bing both work but ixquick does not:

    Google "fried tomatoes"
    Bing "fried tomatoes"
    ixquick "fried tomatoes"

An extension to the OpenSearch protocol has been proposed that would support POSTs but I don't think it's yet implemented on the TouchPad:
