I don't understand why you needed to edit LVM groups. You could have just formatted the partitions.

Honestly I have no idea what I am doing. I am just following the instructions in
How To Recover - WebOS Internals
Pre 3 Doctor quits at 8%. Please Help!!!

How do I format the partitions? and get webos doctor working?

Note: I never partitioned the hard drive space for Ubuntu or Android. The only real changes I did was preware patches and most of the stuff suggested here New Touchpad? Here's your "Get Started" guide and used the 1.5ghz kernel.
