    How can I use chat rooms that require java ?
    I can't find a java that's compatible with webOS.

    webOS does not use Java.

    Try this
    Java Virtual Machine (JVM) works on WebOS 1.45/2.0

    Don't know if it works on webOS 3.XX

    That is for java progams/services run from a command prrompt. I very much doubt there's a plugin for the bowser.

    So no way to use java based chat rooms on the Touchpad then i guess.

    Who has Java based chat rooms anymore, anyway? I don't think I've seen one of those since Flash crawled out of the "crashes your browser every time you start it" era.
