Starting a new thread as this thread kind of went dead without a solution - http://forums.webosnation.com/hp-tou...ird-sound.html.

I started having this about a week back. The sound is like a light stroke on guitar string - like "trung". It usually happens when I flick the card in touchpad. It also happens at times when I switch cards. Pretty weird and not at all predictive.

Any idea why this might be happening?

You're sure it's not an alert sound for something in the background? My first touchpad came with the system sounds muted and once I activated them after having it for a week I was amazed by how many there were, and then I'd get the sound distortion bug and they'd sound totally different Or, does it usually happen when you're near the touchstone? It shouldn't have much range but quirks are common and that's what how I imagine the "trung" sound in my head.
