If I give my touchpad (it just sits under the table) to my niece - do I need to leave a WebOS profile on there after I wipe it or can you use the web on it without?

You must have a WebOS profile signed in to do anything but you can just make a new one or de-authorize your credit card on your current one.

Best practice would be to reset the unit and create a new profile for her.

Even if you de-authorize your card as bable reccomended, she would still have access to your downloaded e-mail, and could possibly send e-mail out also.

My suggestion, if you are giving it to her permanently, setup a profile specifically for her, and maybe even link it to a prepaid card so she could download apps if she wanted. Just a suggestion.
