    With the new update that rolled out and the open source development, will HP continue to support the original touchpad with updates, bug fixes and or overall polish? Or are we counting on developers tinkering with the source with patches via preware?

    Do you mean something like webOS Internals? I think we're already heading in that direction.

    I feel questions about the Future are difficult to answer without a fully-functional Crystal Ball... ;-)

    I think both. I think HP will roll out a few updates until the Touchpad 2 launches, but if we want fast dev before HP updates or for some things we want, then the community will provide that.
