Does anybody know why the battery indicator changes from green to white? Thought It only happened when it was charging but it happens even when it isn't plugged in.

as far as I can tell, its to give you an indication as to how much battery is left, ie "don't worry, green is good, you have plenty of battery"

whereas, when you are nearing the end of the battery life it will go red, warning you with the universal colour for "danger! Your battery is nearing the critical mass and will implode at any moment"

when the battery symbol is white, that is the indication " Maybe's aye, Maybe's naw!"

    hope this helps. :-)

green = 100-90 pct battery left.
