I haven't used the headphone jack in a while, but here's what's happening tonight:

I'm listening to a song on youtube or Pandora, speakers working fine. I plug in my headphones, no sound in headphones. I unplug headphones, no sound from touchpad until I either select another video on youtube or another song from Pandora, then the speakers once again start working. If I try to plug the headphones in again, the same problem starts all over again.

A device restart did not fix this problem.

I am running 3.0.4, Preware installed with patches.

Anyone else experiencing this problem? Thanks in advance.

I haven't had this problem but you could try http://www.google.com/url?q=http://f...L7rMlVETfSualA to see if setting the volume with that helps.

Thank you. Installed it and gave it a shot, no luck.

This really sucks. Hope the two I bought for my kids for Christmas work. Can't exactly have them listening to the speakers in the car on road trips.

Again, thanks for attempting to help.

I've brought this up before, but Pandora, YouTube, etc. - all seem to pause automatically when you switch from speakers to headphone jack. Worth checking.

OK, I checked and at first I thought this wasn't the issue because the video didn't pause on youtube, but when I switched video, the sound came on, so it's just the sound that pauses.

    Thank you for the help!
