I noticed that my Touchpad didn't perform automatic backups in the last week.
When I forced a backup, it just kept showing me "Preparing..." and the rotating
Sometimes it will start the back up but stop after just 5 seconds... then display
"Backup failed" on the bottom.
I decided to play it safe and completely shutdown my Touchpad and restart it
several times. That made no difference. Backup still cannot be done. Just
in case it was a problem with my home WiFi network, I tried it at my office
network and also at the local library. Still nothing....
It shows my last backup date/time as November 28, 2011 17:09.
I called HP webOS support and after 30 minutes, two techs couldn't figure
out why backups failed. I was told to ship my Touchpad back for repairs.
It seems illogical... I know my Touchpad is performing flawlessly and the
backup failure must be HP's problem, no?
