Delete any personal files from the USB drive (just to be safe), and then perform a Secure Full Erase from the Device Info app.

To add a layer of happiness to your deleting, fill up the memory with a bunch of songs, then delete, then put them on again, then delete, then put them on again and delete. This will bury your info so far down and degrade it so much, that it will be very, very hard to recover your data.

Other than destroying the ssd, this is the best way to secure your data.

Or grab a free secure erase program and have it wipe the USB fully to DOD standards.

When you say wipe the usb, what exactly should I wipe, and not wipe?

I know that you require a webos account:

    https://ps.palmws.com/palmcsext/cons...oginPage.iface

This has some personal information, serial number and etc, but one thing im wondering is what do I have to do when I sell the touchpad to another person? How do I get transfer the serial number and such to the account of the person who purchases my touchpad?

Edit: Okay, after using google with different keywords, it seems like all you need to do is use doctor or just delete account from the touchpad. Does this mean that after I doctor the touchpad, someone else can make an account, and I dont have to touch my account from the website above? (such as removing account from device option after logging into account from link above)

One problem, I wasnt talking about the data on the touchpad itself, but the online webos account here: https://ps.palmws.com/palmcsext/cons...oginPage.iface

Once you login, the information about the touchpad (serial number, etc) is there. I just want to make sure that the touchpad isnt limited to one account (Can someone else make an account with the touchpad?). If it is, I will delete the device from the account, if not ill keep.

    Thanks for the help.

yes you can change the account as often as you wan (I did that by resetting the device) and the touchpad will automatically be reassigned in the webos website to the new account, so after that if you log in to the old account you will not find it there.
