    Hi all,

I've read other threads about this, but haven't found one that really matches or, otherwise, has a solution to what I'm trying? Sorry for the potential repeat, but I am getting frustrated.

Every now and then, the right 1/18th or so of the screen (in portrait, button at the bottom) stops responding to touch. No ripples, doesn't light up those squares in the touch screen diagnostics.

I've tried restarting multiple times, letting it wait and charge, but still nothing.

This has happened in the past, and after some length of time, started working again. Exact same area. Thinking it was one and done, I didn't think anything of it, but it's back, unfortunately.

    Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Sounds more like a direct hardware prob, than a software 'glitch' that's for sure?

    Ouch!

Doctor it first, then send it back to HP for repair/replacement if/when no improvement?

fandangoex, my touchpad started acting up tonight, same problem as you. What did you end up doing, and did it help?
