    WebOS 1.3 had this as a feature and reason to adopt WebOS. In every other release Palm was ensuring it supported iTunes as Apple released rapidly to break support.

    Are the touchpads synching to iTunes?
    Palm III -> Treo 90 -> Treo 650 -> Motorola Q -> Treo 755p -> Pixi -> Sprint FrankenPixi+ -> Blackberry Bold 9930

    Kind of... yes install HP play (it's free) on your home computer w/ the itunes music folder (can also add any mp3/ amazon etc) and you can sync up your TP to the same media w/o much hassle. If it doesn't happen to automatically find your folder just manually add it.

    Back in the bad old days of DRMed music, Realplayer was compatible with iPods for awhile. Same situation - Apple quickly released updates to break interoperability until Real gave up.

    I'd say there's a lesson from all that - don't count on anything not Apple being compatible with the iTunes/iPod infrastructure. Even if it works now, it might not later.

    You may try iTunes 9.0.1 and see what happens. It was the last webOS compatible version (or the last to be fooled by a spoofed USB Vendor ID).

    I'm pretty certain the USB setting to synchronize with iTunes doesn't even exist in webOS 2.x/3.x, p41m3r.
